I thought Clark was the stand out player this year.

RTS did have a good season. He looks more comfortable on the wing compared to last year at centre.

Outstanding year.. But better than Erin..

Good to see. He was a beacon for our team this year. Erin was surprisingly good. but RTS gave everything, every game. Happy for him

Happy to die on the hill that i think RTS deserved the awards. Don't think a single play this season can top, in my mind, RTS nearly tearing his hamstring in going fo a quick tackle from marker. Only to rush back onto the defensive line to make a try saving tackle before rolling off of the feild.

RTS the new Ponga and Erin the new SJ

Devils advocate, you could make a strong case for Halasima as our overall best player of the year.

He was the team’s leading try-scorer and directly influenced more wins than anyone else. While RTS did his job well, Halasima wasn’t just solid. He was dominating his opposition, putting up unheard of try scoring feats for a forward.

Of course, I can see why they’d never give it to him. He’s got plenty of years ahead to claim the title and maybe they don’t want his head getting too big just yet!

Throw another name in there - Metcalf only played 3 less games than RTS & definitely had a bigger impact on our season. I’d have given it to Clark as well, however Metcalf runner up.

Doubt it. Not that it means anything but RTS did sign off his IG post with "see you next year Wahs", not exactly screaming that he's about to be out the door.
