International Pacific Championship

Todd Smith is bang average. Some of those calls had me scratching my head — right up there with Casey Badger’s “masterclass” last game. Belinda Sharpe’s miles ahead of her!

And AFB as captain… mate, that flick back to Demetric was shocking. Should’ve scored under the sticks. Ineffective is putting it politely. Worst game I’ve seen Isy Katoa play!

How many spanners are there in a Sydchrome toolkit, if it gets to that calculation?
And what's the average age of the side who kicked off?
I'm sure the 12th Man Calculation works in rugby league, with the obvious difference of batting first v kicking off first, which is why I ask.

Quite a difference in atmosphere between this game and last nights ashes series.

Still a big crowd at Wembley just the huge stadium and the red sets showed the gaps. The old Wembly did have atmosphere. Also needed some English singing.

This crowd has added a lot to this game.

They should have found a Samoan or Tongan for the commentary team.

I don't have faith in the crowd for the final that Voss has. Especially if NZ make it. NZ making the final will reduce the crowd quite a lot compared to this game.

Yep. New Zealand and Australia haven't lost enough games against Tonga and Samoa yet to make those games genuine toss-up, "Who's up for it on the day?" games.
I'm not saying Samoa/Tonga can't beat us, just they haven't beaten us enough yet.
Of course, I'll still be watching, but it's not something I'd go to Mt Smart to watch.
Same, of course, between New Zealand and Australia.

Apparantly weather like this is fairly normal for Brisbane at this time of year.
Which begs the questions: Did the organizers ever consider Sydney?/Did they consider Canberra?/Did they consider replaying the game on a non-stormy day?
I bet the answer to all 3 is Mr N and Miss O getting touchy-feely with each other.
