We really need to get away from having kiwi coaches. Its time to move into a new era. We have such great talent but its wasted having sub par coaching at the top.

We may need to have a seperate home venue for games against Tonga, as Auckland is proving to be more of a home game for Tonga, with Tongan fans absolutely monstering us in every game I have watched at Mt Smart, kudos to the Tongan community BTW as they do create an incredible atmosphere.
However, surely the most important element for the Kiwis is the win, and playing at home is suppose to be an advantage, maybe Christchurch in the cold is where we play some games.

Need to shorten the NRL season so players don’t get burnt out but these games are crucial.
So many players dropped out but this is still a great final.
Aussie cried about Ponga pulling out whilst Samoa had at least 20 players and plenty for the Kiwis.
Unless you are injured you play in these internationals.
That’s what the paying public want.

Were the games always scheduled in this order?

I thought Sky had the Kiwis vs PNG listed as being first followed by the main final. Also thought the NRL site had it the same way when I looked earlier to check the kick off time.

Finished dinner and cleaned up. Sat down to watch the Kiwis and it was two different teams.

Tonga need to get their starting forwards back on quickly after the break and try to smash their way over again - then hold on to the end - also terrible decision from turbo not to pass that at the end there

Never been one of Loloheas strengths, but just in general down in the red zone they seem to be standing too flat, too many taking it from standing starts. Need to get there shape sorted

Tongan fans got too ahead of themselves after their win last week. Many didn’t even realise we were missing 10 players from last year’s squad.

Been quite a while since we have had a weaker Kiwis team.

Man, we need another Kiwi pathway.

We're completely at the mercy of Aussie clubs developing players for us. Are we randomly going to get lucky with another Jahrome Hughes, Kieran Foran etc.

Just thought about it, we've got one NZ NRL pathway, and the best prospects are all Poly boys unlikely to choose Kiwis these days.
