I actually don't think this line up can beat Australia in the final if they stick with it.

I don't think this depleted squad are a chance against Aussie with or without Kodi tbh.

We were down by 6 with 9 minutes to go.
Depleted or not, were absolutely a chance.
I think Charnz at half is a great defensive move and a good player starting the game with him there and whethering the early exchanges, but you need to bring Kodi on for 50+ minutes so we have two attacking options. Charnz offered little in attack at half, Kodi coming on 10 before half time would give us a bit more punch.

Do we want to pass a hat around and see how much $$ we can get before Saturday and offer it to Kodi to run a bit more. We all know he needs a monetary incentive to do so

I reckon we’re a massive chance provided we don’t trip up against Tonga. Often feel like we don’t get over Aussie twice in a tournament and we’ve beaten them early on and lost finals in the past. I like how this is playing out, we certainly weren’t completely outplayed

Crossland getting over Havili is the key IMO against Tonga.
Although the fact that Lolohea gives Tonga an actual 2nd option unlike CNK, might even it out a bit.

If Crossland keeps the same level he did against Australia, we SHOULD beat Tonga.

If we lose to Tonga at their home ( MSS) - we should beat PNG in the play off … although we said that about Fiji a few years ago in Wgtn!!
It would be a disaster , after last year, if we didn’t make the final.
On the other hand, if we do make the final - we will a better shot than the game in ChCh
