International Pacific Championship

Wow, very impressed so far. Largely, we've been in control but they scored against the run of play, before we started to slow down in that final 7 minutes or so.

Lots of heart shown and I've been massively impressed, with essentially the missed tackle by Timoko on Turbo, and the Collins/Keano/Crossland fiasco being the difference.

Could go down to the wire

It will never happen but I believe the only way to save test footy is to rotate mid-year State of Origin with Tests.

3 match test series against Aus every second year

Saddens me that test footy is so neglected that it it simply tacked onto the end of year

For me this is exactly what I expected.

Parity / dominace in the forwards. Disjointed attack and costly defensive errors.

Not sure we can afford Aus to score again. Don't see too many points in us.

13-12 one way or other has a nice ring to it...

Kini is doing alright. He's better offensively than CNK. Defensively not so. Give him time.
They're targeting Timoko and it's working.
Papalii looks in tremendous shape!? Not bad boys, Keep the intensity up and wait for SJ to click into gear and take the game by the scruff of the neck and guide us home for the dub!

This will be a weird post but I think the game boils down to Tapine. I think he was very below his normal performances in the first twenty minutes and if he can lift when he comes back on we will come home with a wet sail.

This game is there for the taking.

Only 2 defensive misses in it really - Kini on Collins, Timoko on Turbo

Attack is naturally clunky being the first hit out but there's signs as it goes on we're connecting better.

Love the added dimension Kini brings on attack, looks electric at times......tempered however on defence where a small bodied fullback can be targetted.

Gives me a vibe of keeping gas in the tank ala the sharks game and many last season that the Warriors came strong in the second half. I agree, I think SJ clicks into gear here

Considering the players out and the difference in the quality of the teams it's been decent so far. Could defs be worse than 12-6.

Need to hope for an opposition sin bin I guess so he can spark in to action against 12

If JFH is the reason for the lift in front rowers, I can’t wait for him to arrive at Warriors gates. They’ve all lifted more than their club form

Johnson and Papa combining well
