My worry with TMM isn’t just his Now that teams know it’s TMM they will change their defensive game plan to neutralise him. He was neutralised last year after a strong start.

He played almost exclusively off the bench last year. Only go with the #7 was in torrential rain.
In 2024 when he had an extended run, his last game there saw him score a try, dish up 3 try assists & gain 160m. Doesn't look like he was neutralized based off those numbers

I think if TMM plays 7 then it might truly be a 1 week fill in for Metcalf. If it's someone else then I start to think Metcalf is unlikely to get a start without shooting the lights out in cup first.

I agree with most but I think you have to give TMM the 7 spot for now, let him get more reps at training with CHT and the team. CHT probably needs to do a lot of the kicking. Was quite impressed with his goal kicking too, he must have been putting in the reps.

And TMM isn't likely to get through all those 14 games either given his injury history. Likely going to have to be a mix of games at 7 for both of them.
