With CHT's versatility I can't see the need for both a hooker & a half on the 6 man bench. Metcalf & Healey need minutes more than anyone else in the squad & I fail to see how one of them doesn't get zero game time this weekend unless one drops down to Cup
I reckon it's just having them there "in case" and if you could choose a hooker and half to sit for you, we have good options.

Healey to drop

If we are all in on Metcalf (??!!) give him his minutes and let him earn that pay check

We contain Moses we contain Parra

Im getting nervous lol.
Should the club be looking at black magic or a human sacrifice to the footy goods to ensure safe passage through this golden little run we have coming up
I like your thinking.
Are there any virgins here willing to take one for the team and get burnt at the stake before our next home game?

If we can assert our game plan, it is sound. All the bonus stuff like Demi folding eels and Leka swatting tacklers and Lofi and Dwizzy doubles etc will come.

Short term I think Healey will be better at hooker than both CHT and Metcalf shifting there mid game. Long term the more game time Healey gets the better. Even small minutes should help him sharpen against the best opponents.

Can't take these pricks lightly. They may be bottom 3 but they lift against the top sides. Oddly enough, the only 2 sides to put 50 on them are actually below them on the ladder.

Gameplan as others have said is simple. Contain Moses and pressure him all game. Dominate the middle third of the field. Once we dominate the field possession, earn the right to go out wide. Parra's left and right edge defense is 17th and 14th in the comp respectively, so it doesn't matter which direction we go, there are pts on offer if our execution is as good as it has been the last few weeks.

In front of their home faithful, I expect Parra to come out firing at the beginning with plenty of physical intent as they did against Manly. But as we saw last week, they have a tendency to fade out towards the end of the game. That's to be expected with the inexperience in their side. So if we control the start, there's no reason for a solid win here and maintain 2nd place on the ladder leading into the bye.

We've been dealing with our bogey teams recently, so another win here seems in order. Wahs 13+, AKP hatrick and Ford anytime try scorer. Up the Wahs!

Do you remember last year, at some point it was noted that we had all of our players available and no injuries for the first time in x amount of months/years and we proceeded to have our best forward in Barney and best back in Mets have season ending injuries within a few weeks

Pretty sure that was the Bunnies game, we had our top lineup squad healthy in the entirety of 2025 for approximately 20 minutes before Mitch did his leg.

Good thinking, Milesandre, should melt any snow on the ground...

Warriors by 10. Would pick by more but we all know what our conversion percentages are like. And watching the Jersey Flegg, looks like it might a club-wide issue.

For sure. Hes a specialist hooker. But he can develop his craft with alternating stints between NRL where his mintutes are short and NSW where he goes the full 80mins. Hes not the finished product and gets too much criticism under the NRL microscope.

Metcalf needs minutes. Whatever position. Someone argued
@Brightman you find a spot for your best 13, so let Metcalf play utility until he earns the no7 jersey back.
