Ruthless.

Any trades to help with it?
I have made a sideways trade this round of Tapine to Eli Katoa as Raiders have two byes to come.
I only have one trade left and I am keeping that to next round.

I am targeting to ignore the major bye rounds but try hard in the minor bye rounds

Decided to use all 3 remaining trades which gives me 13 this week and also 13 next week.

2 of the trades were needed in Couch & Ponga with long-term injuries. So I would have had only one trade next week anyway.

Leaves me with a pretty strong 17 heading into the final part of the season

Clark
Haas AFB May
Kolo Kikau
Katoa Fogarty
Herbie Lucas
JC Kiraz Teddy

Whyte Aitken Savala Drinkwater
Turbo Jazz Sasagi Bird

Will be looking to hold the 8 trades for as long as possible. Will want to try and get someone like Fog > Cleary and Aitken > Preston

Why do it this week though, why not next week? Katoa gets injured, you screwed.

Every time I traded a cheapie, they went on to score big. I'm a bit stuck on Purdue. Everything screams trade but he's a green dot this week and next...

I really don't want to trade this week at all for the reason you mention.

But Tapine is dropping value week to week.

Anyway if I get creative I might be able to sort a trade out next week instead like you suggest.

Is value your main concern at this stage of the game? Tapine has a bye next week, so that's when you trade him out, not a sideways trade when it's a green dot. You're not even worried about winning this round with 10 anyways.

I am going to trade Tapine to JC as I need a WFB more than an edge so won't bring in Eli Katoa after all
.My only question is
a) Do it right now?
b) Do it next round

JC is on a bye this round and coming back from an HIA in round 16
Tapine has a high BE of 61 and will lose value this week. I don't have much available money in the bank as I have ear marked that for another purpose which involves trading out the injured metcalf.
If Tapine gets 35 points or less this round then things will get tight for me affording JC. However if I sell Tapine now then I don't have to worry about how many points he gets this round and his declining value or him getting an HIA ten minutes into the match.

I would prefer to play Tapine though. Maybe my 10 guys can beat my opponents 12? But probably I should give up and just trade Tapine now and go with 9 this round.

I don't know man. You have your play style. I would never pre give up rounds like you have (origin) so maybe my logic doesn't speak to you.

BE is only 59. Very getable. He's done it 4 of the last 10 rounds. Of the last 10 rounds his lowest is 45. He's captain so you know he gets decent minutes and with Papa out maybe he gets 5-10 minutes more.

Trading for a player who doesn't play for a player with a green dot makes no sense to me .

Do it next round for sure. You never know what can happen in training for JC

Thanks @Damo @tyrael appreciate the advice and will do as you suggest

@tyrael a minor picky point. His BE is 61 and not 59. The App/Website is the source of truth and you can only see the BEs if you pay the $25. The 59 you quote comes from footystatistics.com and it is often wrong is my understanding. Although I did once hear someone say it was the other way around.

I paid $308K by memory for Tyrone Munro and thought I was getting a 35-40 point guy

Instead his scores since returning from injury are:
25
25
34
24
Let's hope he has warmed up now.
In better news since I purchased Kautoga he has gone

27
35
57
65

I can only go off footystats, no disposable cash here

Casual Athlete is tipping everyone to TMM next week. Priced at $241K and if he is named at 7 for the Warriors should score 40 plus.
I am so low on trades i can't do it. But letting you guys know.

Only works if you need a half. Most people have their halves keepers. Cleary and Katoa for me.

TMM definitely a buy if he's in halves and if you have trades 6+
