Let's see if you are still saying that two weeks from now. Grant screwed the pooch early season just coasting, he traditionally starts to make an effort around now. That said I don't have the trades and it is a nice to have trade so I can't make it.
I can reliably inform you plenty of top 1000 players in the Jamie Brown forum will be bringing him in over the next three rounds and if you Tyrael, want to maintain top 100, you need to be tracking him even if you don't bring him in. At a minimum he should be a watch list for everyone who has high ranking aspirations.
I can't predict what will happen nor have I been perfect but like poker, you bet with the information you have, if the next card comes down bad for you, that's how the cookie crumbles. Right now, the cards say Grant hasn't shown anything yet. Misses round 18. Kicker is Garlic and Wishhart on the bench which shows he probably won't play the whole game , especially backing up 3 days after origin.

Will be playing one short this week if Haas is ruled out.

I could trade Ponga to Duncan to avoid that and still might - just not sure it is the right thing to do. Might just have to take the medicine.

Don't think Grant is a buy this week but I do agree with analysis that he is a late season buy.

Wouldn't be selling Brailey for him though.

That's a maybe and that's either round 19 or 20. Clark scores better and Cook when not going to center is cheaper and has more upside.

Wrighty mentioned that JB's forum said he's a buy now which is just straight up bad advice.

If Haas has a thigh issue and Madge plays him against a large sharks pack and aggravates it, that's terrible player management.

How many trades do you have left? Ponga to Duncan isn't too bad but trades are the most important coming down the home stretch.

I like Papi, goal kicking, probably best team in the NRL and plays the rest of the season. Awesome ceiling but average floor
I think it depends on the packs they come up against, just looking like against Sharks he scores low, but against Rabbits and Cows he'll do well.

Ideally you will be looping him with your full strength 17
I'm just thinking do I go Bostock for cash generation which I don't really need that badly, but I think he'll do well these next two rounds. He's doesn't play 18 though. Paps means I have to trade Kolo. But if he does miss 18 because of NSW then it's worth it.

Yeah I might have miss explained myself. I don't necessarily mean Grant is a buy this week. Just soon.

And Brailey is worth keeping at this stage you are right. He had a break through game with runs from dummy half which may have been a deliberate change by him that he maintains. It is all a moot point i just don't have the trades to pull off Grant. He is a luxury nice to have trade.

Hmm do you think origin call up is likely with him under the injury cloud?
Apparently eye socket injuries aren't that bad. Walsh came back after missing 2 weeks with his one and his looked worse than Kolo's. Sounds to me like King and Utoikamanu didn't do so well, one of them might go.

However my Origin calls have been poor this year. I thought Horseface would get picked and I didn't think King would.

@Rizzah @Warriorsfan92 what do you guys think of Papenhuzen? Would need to trade Kolo for him. Having a think if Kolo just straight up misses rounds until 20 if he gets NSW call up.
I wouldn't trade Kolo for him. Papenhuzen is a decent get - not a must have, can you make it work some other way?
Storm are generally strong and pump teams, he's secured the goal kicking and has heaps of attacking strengths.
Has there been chat that NSW were unhappy with their prop rotation? I don't think Kolo gets the call up unless there are injuries.
