i really didnt expect to win that one. i barely looked at it since i knew how strong your squad was and my team wasnt going very well either.
Just goes to show, with Fantasy you can do everything right and still go poorly.

Injuries are going to be interesting this week. I have Marzhew, Couchman and Nicholson who all left the field. Marzhew and Nicholson have been great buys and have pretty much maxed out in value so moving them on isnt that big of a deal. But Couchman i havent had that long and really hoped to be a high 50s, Mid/Edge dual season long keeper.

Before you get Piakura remember he's a cash out now, gain you a bit of cash too but he's proven in the past that he doesn't score well and you need to be prepared for that to happen. He's not a long term keeper, could be picked for Origin and will cost you 2 trades (1 in, 1 out)

I’m buying Piakura if named at edge. -15 be, only needs to get 35 and he’ll make 100k in 3 weeks. Willison will play middle with haas & carrigan out with origin too.

If I buy Piakura it will be Willison I give up. As you mention Willison could get a good role over both the major byes and minor byes. And Willison is DPP.
To address one of Tyrael's points it only costs me one trade to bring in Piakura, if I decide to, as I am not going to keep Willson the whole game and was going to trade him out eventually.
I guess one damning thing about Piakura is his track record
2023 age 21 played 13 games avg 23.5
2024 age 22 played 18 games avg 29.6
2025 age 23 avg ????
And on the other hand people are saying he passed the eye test and looked great on the weekend. Really turned a corner.
