Damn. I went Cleary this week due to opposition. But should have looked at the weather haha.

Disappointed with Kiraz score but showed what he’s capable of in the 2nd half - could be some monster games on the horizon
I’m not disappointed at all. He scored 30 points in 35 mins! He was on 4 at the the 45th minute, in pouring rain, down 34 nil. He’s a great option. 5 offloads for 20 points is so handyDisappointed with Kiraz score but showed what he’s capable of in the 2nd half - could be some monster games on the horizon
That's my team.Who’s marryhill maggots
I swear it’s me and you always fighting it out for top spot the last few years, damo, Shaka, and worriers too. You’re always killing it, and this year in the top 200 is crazy man. Well done! I’m having a shocker this year, trading hard to keep my rank improving. Sitting at 7k nowThat's my team.

Last year we were all looking to you for advice!!! 7k isn't bad though, Jamie Fantasy was like 20k this time last year.I swear it’s me and you always fighting it out for top spot the last few years, damo, Shaka, and worriers too. Thanks, It was fun and also extremely frustrating at times last year trying to catch you! I think I just copied your reply lol.Last year we were all looking to you for advice!!! 7k isn't bad though, Jamie Fantasy was like 20k this time last year.
I think last year was more strategic because there were less most haves (Hynes) and less cash cows that everyone had. (This year everyone started with combo of Purdue, Duffy, Hubner, tamale, sandon Smith, toia)
Because everyone started with essentially the same team bar 5-6 positions, 1-2 mistakes meant a huge deviation. I can certainly pinpoint where I've gone wrong this year but last year many things went wrong for me. I started with two bad players and have made two bad trade ins.
Haha yeah, ponga screwed me. And selling Purdue in round 2, 2 huge calls. I won’t be starting with an expensive fullback that plays fullback ever again! Thanks, It was fun and also extremely frustrating at times last year trying to catch you! Lol.
The two NZW leagues are quite competitive, a lot of good players.
This year I watched a lot more youtube leading up to round 1, which helped. But there's a healthy dose of fluke/luck involved.
I think it's been both easier and harder this year - a lot more cashies and mid tier buys that have turned out really solid. But it has made it difficult if you fall behind/make a couple of bad trades. Also captain choices are key and we have 3-4 solid options this year instead of just Cleary which has made it interesting.
Looking at your team, it looks good - I would put a big chunk of your points position on Ponga's poor form. Normally he's a weapon (as per RD1 & RD2 scores) - these past four weeks he has stunk. He's probably cost teams 160-200 points in 4 weeks. And he's just about untradable, as then you lock in the $$ losses.
Edit: My current position looks way better because it's only 1 game into the round and I captained Haas. I was sitting at #836 after round 7.
The origin/big bye period is key, even minor planning for those 6-7 rounds and I think you do better than most other teams and boost rankings.Haha yeah, ponga screwed me. And selling Purdue in round 2, 2 huge calls. I won’t be starting with an expensive fullback that plays fullback ever again!
I’m still relatively confident of finishing top 1000. I’m almost set with 13 for round 12, so will back off on the trades & hopefully gain some ranks in origin period.
