I think you can be flexible with that depending on how many trades you have. I kept last week because I didn't know what it was really, but sometimes being able to double loop is a thing.

I haven't traded him away yet, as I don't know what the 3rd trade should be.
I am in two minds about Purdue. The oppositions don't seem to be able to shut Tamale down even though he is now a "known threat" to opposition teams. Normally I would run the narrative that Purdue had a few great games as no defensive coordinator had him on their radar and that as the season progessed defences would give him less time and space. But because Tamale is still going strong I don't know if my theory will apply to Purdue either. But if it does he will not come close to a 48 average, He is priced at 41 already and if the footage is being studied on him then he will peak in price soon.

Not sure how I missed the memo - I knew the major bye rounds 12, 15 and 18 were the playing 13 only (no interchange or EMG players), I didn't realise it applied to all the minor bye rounds, 13, 16 an 19 as well.

yes and I think people should be taking the minor bye rounds at 13 a lot more into account that what they have been in their strategising. This the first year for it so in future years people will leverage that rule better. People seem oblivious to it at the moment with their tactics.

Just completed a bye planner. This was actually quite a good exercise. It showed I don't need to trade out any of Cleary, Haas or May as I was contemplating.
It showed me the odd man out is Purdue over this period. I could trade him for a MID to cover 12 and 15. Also Horsburgh if he makes Origin will be a trade out.
Red are players not playing due to their bye or Origin. Blue (Horsburgh) for who may play Origin and will miss those rounds if picked.

This is awesome.

One thing you might like to add is a secondary colour on origin players backing up.

In Rnd 13 for example you are assuming Haas, May, Cleary all back up from Origin. Maybe they will, maybe they won't (but then I see you have coverage anyway).

Nice planning

I'm against 'Milking Play On' in the NZW League, who appears to be MIA with 3 players in his starting 17 injured. Lomax, Ali and Talakai.
And up against @Fizurg in the Overrun League, which looks to be a more competitive match up! :D
This prompted me to have a quick look over our match up this week. I couldn't work out why your team looks so stacked till i saw your team value is approaching $14m. You have set your team up amazingly. You're in for a great season. Only luck will get me past you this week.

Good idea for the visual cue. I have some notes below each round that you can't see in the screenshot - with potential issues and possible trade ideas etc.
I figure most guns I have in Origin will attempt to back up because their teams aren't that secure, except maybe Cleary after the Perth Origin (#2). Panthers play us in Auckland the following weekend, which might be a bridge too far.

For a crate of double browns, I'll put a voodoo curse on his team.

I didn’t want to buy any warriors, but I’m seriously considering halasima for coverage. Through a bit of necessity (and hope that he gets selected for origin) I’m trading Watson, mamoz and kautoga/purdue to tevaga, halasima and thompson. Only leaves me one more second rower needed for round 12 if I trade kautoga. Thoughts on leo thompson?

He is scoring consistently, Leo, a point per minute so it comes down to the minutes he is given. He got 59 minutes on the weekend when Knights pack was at full strength so that is a good sign. However in other matches for whatever reason the coach only gave him 40 minutes. So that is the best I can say. In the last match he played 59 minutes for 63 points in round 2 he scored 35 from 35.
More recently in his last three games he has played 65,43, 59 minutes. I have been eyeing him off occassionally if that throw away comment helps.

Yeah looks to fill a gap for me in round 12 and 15 too. I did hear in a podcast that he did go off with an injury or something along those lines in one of those game he got less minutes.
