How many trades do you have left? You're missing 2 players for Rnd 18. Drinks is a green dot for 18 too....
Oh I’m holding drinky, have to. Round 18 is terrible for wfb & centres. I’m weighing up Teddy or jc next week, leaning towards jc even though he doesn’t play 18. 60 avg at 740 vs Teddy 53 avg at 725.

I’ll probably get a cashout that plays 18 & jc, and play 12 in round 18. Looking at sasagi, Montoya, karapani, penisini, dwz

I would say no to monty and dwz

Karapani scored 2 to make 49, which is iffy.

I like Penisini and Sasagi could be a sneaky pod. I think he's started to warm to Ricky.

I have to look at if I can get Bostock as he's going to make a lot of money and has 2 easy games before 18. I really want JC but don't know if I can afford him right now. I also have to get back Haas after round 18.

Nah so the thing that I’m looking for in Montoya is 1, he has job security, dpp, plays 18. DWZ has a try regression, so just like Bostock, he’s a cheap winger who normally scores lots of tries but hasn’t this year for a variety of reasons. These players are unlikely to feature in my team after round 18, but will sit in my emg and be a break glass in case of emergency type player.

Sasagi could be an option if he gets the centre spot with Kris moving to the wing, with tamale out for extended period. Penisini is a fallen gun, who has an HIA affected game in his avg.

I bought Bostock for the same reasons I’m looking at Montoya/dwz. Job security, good byes & try regression.

I was thinking Walsh for next round, but I can't get him and Bostock and Bostock doesn't play 18 which is actually ok for me.
I need a half for round 18 was thinking if I should get J Hughes now.

Yes I’m eyeing up Walsh too, and Hughes. I don’t need Hughes next week but I do for 18. Because I don’t have many trades left I need to make them count & taking punts on mid rangers is even riskier but it paid off this week with donoghoe. Turbo seems to be coming right & is the right type of risk.

I have 8 trades left. Not good but though to take early punts. If they get injured before 18, I can still do something about it. If you have say 3-4 trades left. I would be wary of getting someone too early that you need in 3 rounds time.

I find it funny that there were a lot of people complaining about round after origin is only 13 players including a lot of Fantasy content creators, however, I'm so glad this round is only 13 coming up. I think the same will be said for 19.

I do enjoy the chaos that this round has thrown upon us. I had Stewart with a 16 and Sharpe being out means I could take Talakais 21 or could spend a trade and bring in Kiraz - bringing Kiraz in does have implications for next round though so have decided not to - will be gutted if he pops off - . I think 628 with Keon (c) and Aitken to play should hopefully mean I stay firm in my ranks.

Will need a wfb next week if Sharpe is still out -and they will need to play 18 as well - considering Walsh but know he is a bit of a roulette wheel

I think you will gain ranks. You will be 800+

Walsh is definitely roulette but he is cheap enough to gamble if you have the trades. If I get him, it's a keeper and I won't be trading him out no matter what. Bostock is a cash cow though.

I think you’ve probably missed Bostock, he’ll make 90k & he’ll be a 400k winger with shit byes. Heaps will jump on but he got me 27 & 40, with tries. I grabbed him as he’d bottomed out & had security in a good team. At 400k he’s no longer a cashout

I'm just using him to make more money. He has another 2 great rounds. His BE will be like -30. But I will see.

There is another factor with Walsh and that is Ben Hunt is returning. When he played earlier this season I felt like Walsh was deferring to other spine members including Hunt to avoid overplaying his (Reece's) hand. This lead to 10 to 15 minute segments of the game where Walsh was invisible. I think my thought is to wait to TLT to see if Hunt is back and if he is hooker or six. That spine just has not gelled this year and then you have all these talented forwards who want the ball all the time too. So Reece is very much a Roulette Wheel. But so is Tom and I would like this week to trade in Hiroti for one of them (unless Hiroti is back this week). Choosing between which horse to back is make or break.

Continuing on my motif about too many cooks in the kitchen with the Broncos. They were doing better and will do better when they insert role players back into their team like Goswiski instead of Piakura and Shibashaki. People who will just to a role and not be putting their hand up for the pill all the time like a Pikakura will -which subsequently means less touches for Walsh. Contrasst that to the Warriors and they have many role players in their team.

My leaning is that Walsh is the better pick out of tom vs him
Yeah I think Walsh is probably the better pick. But Walsh had a bye this round so couldn't be picked. I would say Tom played badly and still scored 44 which is great. Keep getting 40s and that would be enough for me at his price point for the time being.
I think you are also correct about Walsh with Hunt but I think it's more the fact that Mam feeds Walsh more and also that Hunt isn't a 6 but a hooker. He really should be on the bench instead of whoever their pack up hooker is Paix?
