My best overall rank so far is 1598 with zero bye planning. I’m not going to be anywhere that this year even with bye planning. Head to head has always been my main focus with overall being a bonus.
Head to head you need to be a bit more conservative with trades since you need more later in the season. The bye period is a great place to save trades. Head to head losing by 200 is the same as 10. I’m happy to forfeit these rounds to strengthen my team going into round 23.
1598? dang

Yeah, I can’t help wondering what it would have been with some bye planning. I’m pretty sure one of the bye rounds I had four players and captained Garner haha.
But come round 23 I had almost every gun i wanted and enough trades banked to get me though. I’ve massively fallen off a cliff the last two seasons though. I think largely due to too many mid rangers in my starting teams.

One of my best lessons this year was learning the hard way about mid rangers
Too late now for me to leverage it but know for next year

Still trying to figure out if I want two centres or an edge and centre.

I think either way the team looking average....

Captain choice is super interesting this round.

Reece Walsh due back Round 13

NRL Physio from 4 weeks ago

Broncos suspect Reece Walsh has a PCL injury & at this stage expect him to miss 4-6 weeks (via Daily Telegraph). Walsh will have scans on Tuesday to confirm.

Good news is even high grade PCL injuries/complete ruptures rarely require surgery & have relatively quick return times (eg Dylan Edwards in 4 weeks last year).

But PCL does provide stability to the knee, so rehab process needs to make up for this.

While most NRL players able to return in 3-6 weeks it’s rarely at 100% performance straight away + threshold for symptom aggravation is lower (doesn’t take as much to stir up the knee).

He scored 52 in 80 minutes which included a try. Not impressive. However previous years has been better numbers.
He had 67mins I thought? Owen Pattie came on for him, but it might be likely that he gets 80. I think he will be worth for you, he gets 50 points on the regular and he'll gain you some cash has good bye rounds.
