Thanks Fizurg
The casual athlete has whyte on their definite sell list and it impacted me
Do you think his minutes will go down from the 49 minutes in the first game to low 40s for the rest of the season and that he is a sell
I don’t always trust the casual athlete to be honest
Last week he was saying stick with jack bird even though he wasn’t a starter. Naturally I ignored this advice and dropped him.
He has a regular guest on his show the guest said he is trading in Metcalf for Humphrey’s while longy said he is sticking with Metcalf one more week as he is said Metcalf is a more talented player with more pedigree than Humphrey’s and not be taken in by the score of 75 first round
Longy is a very good player but it’s actually been quite a while since he’s done particularly well. I think he won it twice a decade or so ago. I value his input but nothing anyone says is gospel.
(I’m actually against him in a head to head match this week, will let you know how I go)
Jamie Brown has never cracked the top 100 either.
I like to get my information from a few places and then form my own ideas. Something i think you are particularly good at. But as a word of advice staring from the pack, especially when you are newish to the game will usually end in tears.
I can’t see your team and don’t know how much cash you have left in the bank. But from what I’ve read. Whyte and Grant wouldn’t be the players I’d be looking at trading this week. Those are luxury trades and it’s waaaay too early in the season for that. I know you have three Warriors players and
Metcalf is a hold but the others are hard to justify keeping. Humphries, Horse, Duffy, Tamale, Toia. If you missed any of those, they should be targets. We are actually spoilt for cheap players with value this season. If you don’t grab these guys by round ten you will be $1m behind and then you’re in big trouble.
As always, this is just my 2c. Back your own judgement.
