Inruin's Round 8 Tipping Match Up Snapshots

Broncos v Bulldogs

Broncos on a bit of a slide but Walsh out might be a blessing in disguise for them. Bulldogs continue to roll on unbeaten thus far. This will be a bigger test for them than previously though. Broncos bounce back, just.
Broncos 1-12

Roosters v Dragons
Roosters continue to blow hot and cold. Some lineup changes help this week for them. Dragons are playing above most people’s expectations and downed a poor Manly side last week. I’m thinking it’s a hot week for the Roosters in the first of the triple header for ANZAC day
Roosters 13+

Warriors v Knights
Warriors held on against an error riddled Broncos side, winning in golden point. The Knights continue their struggles with attack but looked better throwing the ball around in the second half. A game of two stuttering attacking sides but it will be the errors that decide the game and the Knights are making plenty.
Warriors 1-12

Storm v Rabbitohs
The Storm got found out last week with their slow second halves against the Dolphins who put 42 on them. Rabbitohs have hit the wall somewhat after a fighting start to the season. Storm at home on ANZAC day is ominous for the Bunnies. First half blowout with a dwindling second half.
Storm 13+

Cowboys v Titans
Cowboys coming of the bye and looking to extend their 3 game winning streak. Titans have looked fairly scrappy all season and I think will struggle here despite some flashes of brilliance
Cowboys 1-12

Panthers v Sea Eagles
Panthers finally clicked in to something like 2024 form last week against the Roosters. The Sea Eagles were poor against the Dragons but welcome back Turbo to boost their backline threat. Panthers one off game last week versus Manly improved Turbo attack?
Sea Eagles 1-12

Raiders v Dolphins
Raiders have been strong all season but news of Fogarty signing elsewhere might be a distraction for them. Dolphins after a slow start to the season have looked in good touch lately, Good test for both sides here. I’m leaning slightly to the Raiders.
Raiders 1-12

Tigers v Sharks
Tigers were ill disciplined last week against the Eels but should be better with Galvin back in the halves. The Sharks took care of the Knights fairly comfortably last game but a trip to Leichhardt Oval is a different story. Close game predicted.
Tigers 1-12

Weirdly enough, I think the donkeys can take the dogs.

Not a high chance, but a possibility.

The Broncos will have had Madge rark the shit out of them this week and Walsh is also out. Bulldogs will be fizzing over the last couple of weeks and could bring a bit too much confidence.

I actually think the Broncos line up well against the dogs. Dogs have yet to come up against a really big forward pack that can absorb their high intensity gameplan. So I've always thought they would struggle against the bigger packs in the comp (ie Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra) as they did last year. Funnily enough, I think Walsh being absent helps Broncos straighten up a little bit more and focus on the physical aspects of the game, as opposed to going sideways constantly.

I'm hoping for the following:
1. Bulldogs (Probable)
2. Roosters (Possible)
3. Wahs (Of course!)
4. Rabbits (Very Unlikely)
5. Titans (Possible)
6. Panthers (Possible)
7. Dolphins (Unlikely)
8. Tigers (Possible)

This would make us second outright.
