If Alamoti was a Tiger the Tigers fans would have said his shoulder was headbutted.
Like TMM last year. It was ok to hit him in the head cause he throws dummies. That one was from Gould but some of the Aussie clubs come up with some strange ones. We at least have that in common although I'd like to think we're not that bad.

It wasn't the hardest of tackles but still it was high and that is the rules. It would have been rough if we were talking about it not being called like the TMM one.

Long way to go in this game and long way to go in the season...

But, if Panthers go on to lose this game, they face needing to win 11 of 18 games just to make the 8.

Not saying they can't do it but there is a very real scenario they don't make the 8 considering they need to get through Origin
If they keeping playing this way might be less Panthers playing in Origin.

Dolphins are horrible other than some supreme speed out wide, and the Panthers are still behind by 12 😂 They might not make the playoffs this year if this continues, lost confidence, think 2001 Crusaders after a 3-peat or last years Crusaders after a 7-peat

Was all of the panther's discipline tied up in JFH? I don't think any panther's play individually that badly, there just showing that playing a heavily structured play style with some of the worst discipline is a recipe for disaster.

I was one that was thinking they'd still make the 8. They are going to have to turn around their defence big time.

At this right they could go from 4 x premiers to fighting off the spoon.

A lot has been made about the new crop not being as good as the players they have lost. Time will tell. They are getting games in them which could be a benefit later on. Or they may need to go to the market for a few positions and get some experience around them.

Seems like a reset not a rebuild.

The exodus has caught up with them this year.

You can't keep losing test and origin players and replace them with juniors without a fall off.

This is still a club that could win 7 or 8 prems across 11 or 12 years which in itself is mad

Fuck do they look like 2024 us.
  • Badly disciplined
  • Attacking structure is just moments of brillance by your always injuried half, or pass it to the wing and hope.
  • Every team is turning up against them because of how well they've gone last year (or for them 4 years)
  • Lots of injuries.
  • Very short pre-season with most of your players going into rep squads.
