I have a question about the rules
In the 1980s on the 6th tackle set the kick chasers would be in front of the kicker but you had to let the fullback catching the kick run 5 metres before you could tackle him and not infringe on that space. Do people remember that rule? Now days the kick chase have to be behind the kicker on the 6th tackle and can tackle whenever?

If you are behind the kicker you can tackle whenever, I feel like that's a given? Considering a thing called contesting bombs.

If the chaser is in front of the kicker then they need to be at least 10m away from where the ball lands and not make any interference as well.
