Blake Mozer is who they are worried about losing. Cowboys will be in the market in 2026 for a hooker with Brandon Smith not interested in heading up there. Sort of wonder if there could be something to this with Reynolds heading home to Sydney and Hunt heading home to Brisbane? I heard the Dodgers still made $130 million profit after the huge player contracts.

Papenhuyzen extends to remain in Melbourne

It has been announced he signed until the end of 2026. There a story in the daily telegraph and it states why he signed for another year only and for less money. But the rumour going around is after that he will sign with the Eels to be with Ryles. He can't sign now becasue of the Storm/Ryles agreement not to talk to any Storm palyers until the end of 2025. We will have to wait and see.

Probably a good move for them as both Papalii and Tapine are getting towards the end of their careers. Paying a few hundred k over what he's worth now imo, but would likely be worth 800k those final years of the contract so not terrible I guess

Stories just come out that they were offered Reece Robson but declined. They must feel like there’s a good chance to sway Thompson with the offer than give Robson an offer because they pretty slim at dummy half

That's an over pay for Thompson, but he's the biggest name on the market so you gotta do what you gotta do. He's pretty one dimensional.
