winner of the second prelim will win the comp... kennedy was the difference in that game from last night from what i saw - 3 first half tries from the storm due to him defending in the line (got one back with that pass tho)

That's a big call to make. I have Melbourne slightly ahead but will be interesting. I think Melbourne would much prefer Brisbane to get through. That will increase their chances significantly. Even if Penrith get through I think I would back Melbourne to beat them.

He played 2 games at centre all year
Bulldogs got him because of his kicking game, so five eighth was obviously where they always saw him and where he’s predominantly played there. Don’t see many centres used for their kicking game. His last year at panthers he produced 13 try assists at centre and has had a decent showing in try assists since he’s been at bulldogs, but this year has dropped badly for a position that’s running and setting up tries

I put that on Ciraldo / Gus. Burton regressed badly this year.

Just watching Brisbane in the grand final. Seen about 27 knock ons not called in the first 5 minutes. Thought I saw a tackle but not entirely sure.

He let sexton do his thing snd they were coming first, then Forrest Gump joined and they lost 2 spine players and his form went downhill

I'd have him as a 6 to Metcalf's 7. His boot would save 2 of the 2 first hitups per set if we employed his distance kicks.

I’d pay a million for him to play 1, still the massive boot, goal kicking, golden goals from 45m, post contact meters for kick returns, can tackle and can score or pass in the red zone, preserves Luke’s legs too

Sexton only had 6 try assists from 18 games too. I’m not sure who set up their tries when there’s 10 try assists between their halves that played a majority of the season?

And Kikau was their next guy with 9

Taine had 4 from 6 games at FB

TMM had 16 from 16 last year including games where he was invisible next to SJ 😂 That strike rate is on par with this year’s leader Drinkwater 24/24 and probably in line with Walsh 22 from 19 when counting playing without SJ

Cognitive dissonance from team Webby turning a try assist machine into Tim Allen the Toolman 🤦

Why CHT is being underrated by some with his season. 18 try assists from 24 games with 8 tries is a good season from him. He compliments Metcalf so well
