While people are saying that the Wahs will take on the Dogs, tomorrow’s game is the Panthers. Of course I want the Wahs to win, but form says the Panthers will take it. Given all the injuries this year, it is a minor miracle that the Wahs are in the top 8.

One of the journalists on NRL360 this week pointed out how the Bulldogs are good and putting a narrative out there to justify their decisions.
Mahoney is a poor communicator.
Sure, you see more if you are at the game. But, even just the wider shots you just see Galvin running around. Not much communication with the rest of the team. It was noticeable as soon as Sexton came on how much he was organising everyone around him.
Galvin will give them the try scoring plays if they get into the position to do that. The problem is Galvin isn't looking great at getting the team into those positions.
It was good seeing Sexton get over as soon as he got on. Really rough leading a side to the top of the table to be dropped when he was playing well.
I thought Pezet was impressive for an inexperienced half. Had some good kicks and made some crucial tackles.

For an apparent shortage of halves in the NRL it seems odd that Sexton is going to the superleague. Makes a bit of a nonsense of that doesn't it?
