You've convinced me. I've swapped him for Paix and have brought him in as my supercoach flex player for Ponga.
I think your super coach flex player should be someone elite. So my advice is yes trade out Ponga but see if you can someone really good. My two cents only.

I am only taking this new Kent in NRL fantasy classic. I like your choice to trade out Paix for him. Like I said I will either trade out Savala since he has to go around round 13 and there are hardly any 230K cheapies after round 12 to downgrade to. Or I may trade out Ryley smith as i have two other hookers.

I am forced into trading away Jenkins this week as I need my back up WFB in my 13.
I will trade to either Iongi or Tamale. Tamale is more expensive but in 8 rounds only has two scores that were duds. All other scores over 40.

Thanks for the advice. I've got a couple of dual position halves so I've shifted him to the reserves and made Hynes my flex player. I have a lot of cash to use now but might hold off until next week to make a call. I'm looking closely at some of the Origin certainties not scoring so well that I can try and replace with players scoring similar. I feel like I went this season with too many Origin starters and am now a bit stuck planning for the bye rounds in both comps, but Supercoach is much easier to maneuver.

I like your Style. Good moves. :)

Definite trade out, easy to go Cant to Lucas.

I want to use up all three trades, but need to save some! I think just the Cant trade for me this week.
Yeah. I'm trading Cant, the other option is to also trade Trell. I know he's suspended for a game but I'll check if Humphreys comes back the week after. I think too much pressure on Trell at the moment.

Latrell looks disinterested, preferring to pass rather than take the line on. Crazy stuff.
I think he's a def trade, esp with SOO coming up. I'm glad I didn't trade him in a couple of weeks back when he was on my radar.

Humphreys is an interesting one though. I do wonder if he is a trade in once he's back, getting three 70s in a row is no fluke. With that kind of score he's gotta be one of the best captain options going into origin games.

Your Latrell observation is what the heavy weight posters on the Jamie Brown forum are also saying

Apparently there was a play on the weekend where Latrell had his opposite number isolated some distance from the cover defence and instead of running the ball, when the play looked like it had been designed to indeed isolate a one on one for Latrell, he shovelled the ball on to someone in a worse position than him.

My translation is that he and Ponga are playing dinner suit rugby league and trying to use sleight of hand to create tries.

I have dumped Latrell in super coach.

Need to buy an Origin mid. Thinking Tapine or Max King...both so expensive though.
Still got a couple of weeks at least. Am hoping tapine is at his peak and will drop off a bit so i can trade yeo for him once he has a bye just before origin.

Anyone else taking a chance on JMK? I feel like he's reasonably good value atm if he can string some games together...
I have B Brailey and Mama already and Ryley Smith so not personally.
I took a squizz at him though and both his price and scores are about the same as Brailey's. I imagine the Dolphins have a better bye schedule than Sharks?

I want to buy Lychen Togia King (spelling?)
Who of these three nuffies is the most nuffy and I should trade away
a) Savala - 275K
b) Ryley Smtih - 350K
c) Vaimauga - 330K

Savala has to be sold eventually once Sam Walker returns around round 14 apparently
Ryley Smith misses tackles and makes errors
Vaimauga doesn't get minutes but has a very handy points per minute.

Right now have chosen Smith

I wouldn't sell any personally. Sit on them

Wrighty do you usually jump on the cheapies when they come out? Sometimes it can be a good move when you're specifically looking for a player in a position and someone comes up, but I usually try to wait and see how they perform in their first week, or would need to see more job security before I make the leap.

When bringing in a cheapie, of course we're all hoping they smash it and turn into a keeper, but imo you also need to keep in mind that a failed cheapie will cost you two traders - one to get in to your team and one to get them out. It makes it extremely difficult if you get one or two cheapies who don't score well because then you either need to wait for ANOTHER cheapie to come along, or trade another player whose worth more to use some of their money to upgrade the failed cheapie.

I would be holding both Salava and Vaumunga at the moment. I don't know much about Riley though, haven't looked at his stats or how he plays etc
