Really like their sound. You were talking about the father and mother playing instruments, do they play together or just this trio?

Really enjoyed a fly on the wall type movie just came out the other day called greatest night in pop on netflix. All about the making of the the song we are the world with all the stars. Crazy to look back now and the caliber of artists together in one recording session.

Could never stand the song itself but was an interesting doco. Michael Jackson still creeps me out though, no mention of his child molestering obviously. Best moment was Diana Ross, she didn't want it to end.

Sheila E was pretty hot, I'd forgotten how annoying Cyndi Lauper used to be.
Thought she was being used to lure prince, certainly a possibility? Was surprised how tolerant they were of Lauper, what a horrible talking voice. Al Jarreau having to get his part done early because he was getting gassed was funny. Surely must have been some marching powder going around that room. Dylan looked awkward around generational voices.

Haha yeah was funny when he asked Stevie how to sing it like Bob Dylan.

Would have been funny to watch him try to sing in the key that the song was sung, Kenny Rogers had a prick of a time.
Inspired a lot of classic memes though

He looked fairly pleased with himself when Lionel Ritchie told him the take was good, or relieved at least. They should think themselves lucky that Quincy didn’t bring in Tom waits and have to show Tom waits how to sing like Tom waits.
Can hear it now,

"Never drive a car when you're dead
We are the wooorld"
