Winning 4 premierships in a row no matter what stacked team you have with players leaving is definitely no fluke.
You could see he wanted to get that premiership for the Warriors it was there, like Webster he'd have an average up and coming team and still get a finals berth.
We have Webster now one of Clearys apprentices🤷‍♂️
Only 3 coaches have made the top 4 in their rookie season (Bellamy, Cleary and Webster) we are in safe hands

Just saw the 2BrokeUsos podcast with Leka. He is a Mormon. And he hasn’t done his mission yet. :/
Well, isn't there pretty compelling evidence Mormons have their most effective missions when they're go on them after their 45th birthday?

I'm sure I read that somewhere...

Pity someone already came up with Leka The Wrecker. I thought Leka Hurricane would work pretty well. As long as Neil Young's lawyers didn't get snitty.

Between 18 and 25 apparently for 24 months. Not everyone does one so hopefully he’s one of those that doesn’t, or at least his mission is to win a title

Is there a time frame he has to do it within?

He can say no. It is a personal choice. There is a lot of expectation that people will volunteer though.

However being somewhat famous, the Church would support him in his decision because it is good for optics and they understand professional development.

In real terms it will come down to what his parents are saying, they are likely to be the most influential people in his decision.

Will Hopoate and Jordan Rapana did theirs and still had decent careers. Joe Vuna's mission definitely (imo) decreased his chances of a good career.

Apparently DWZ and Joseph Suaalii are mormons too who didn't go on a mission.
I seem to recall Will taking a long time to readjust to the game after his mission and never really hitting his potential. Have to respect these guy's decisions though if they're choosing between their faith and sports careers.

Could barely tell Rapana was a member that way he used to curse out players on the field and such lol

Maybe he’s less active now 😭

His influence in the public arena will do more than 30 years of missions knocking on doors….Ardea Savea or Charnz are good examples (not Mormon but they put themselves out there)

Plus I don’t know how poor Leka’s gonna get away with answering questions about polygamy 😂

Will Hopoate ruined his career with the move, was never the same. Was one of the best young guns in the game, never got close to his original potential. Rapana turned good, but he was sooooo young when he first made NRL, that it was probably a good life experience for him. Hit and miss results.
