What really happened to Maumalo and Fusitua? It's like they totally lost their careers during that COVID spell when they should have been in their primes.

Also at age 30 and 31, they're not all that old
Both had career best years when the Tohu/Hiku combo was inside them. Maumalo's form skyrocketed once SJ left but Fusitu'a was largely reliant on SJ creating his opportunities

It did seem the players who requested to come home were cut quite quickly afterwards, Reading between the lines their desire was questioned.

Ken's final game for the club he was crying on the field in the final moments. Was pretty sad.

I never really felt like Ken was uncommitted in any way, I always thought he gave his all. I just though that he had a limited ceiling, and often wasn't found in the right place at the right time (I always thought he was a yard behind the play). Still, I never felt like he wouldn't do a job for us, and he seemed like a pretty good dude/team mate.

Fusitu'a had all the talent in the world...

I don't think anyone can hold the COVID situation against a player though. Family and home is so important that you have to respect anyone who chooses it first.
