These ford 80 minute sessions are getting a little performative, just because he can do it, don’t mean you should, what’s he doing chasing carnts on the edge in the 70th minute?
Especially since Egan, CHT and Capewell all got an early knock.

I don't like to kink shame, but Webby could probably choose a safer one than watching Ford suffer for 80mins a week.

Last year Ford actually started the year well, it gradually torpedoed into the full Ford effect as the season went on and he was playing bulk minutes due to injuries.

Maybe hes a bit more battle hardened with another full pre season as prop. But it just seems completely unnecessary with all the middles we have available.

It ended up 7-3 and 4-3 penalties both titans way titans also ended up 51% possession since it was 65/35 at half time they must have had close to 70 the second half

To be honest that wind killed us, like kick was coming back 20 metres pretty much nullified our entire kick long and defend strat
It reminded me of watching games at Athletic Park in Wellington. You had to pile the points on playing with the wind in the first half and try to hold out in the second half against the wind

I was a big advocate of CNK returning to fullback, but gee whiz that guy really is past it. Tries his heart out but sometimes the mind is willing but the body is not. I don't think TT is the long term answer either.

On the plus side, Demitric looked like a man on a mission and was damaging with and without the ball. Thought Barney looked a real handful too.
I'm still intrigued by the the thought of RTS back to fullback. Especially when Pompey and Berry are back.....I know he's been great at centre but it may be a better balance for us.....I wouldn't be changing those wings.....so nice to have some out and out speed. And Dallin isn't far off his 2023 form. Been outstanding.
