Time to be ruthless in this comp, there is definitely a making in this squad who could take the comp out this year.

Few areas that need to be looked at and that’s Fullback and our middle rotation.

Fords been awesome, but do we have him out there busted for 70-80 each week or do we have Tanner and Demi share those minutes for more quality and less errors. Fords numbers are huge but it’s not much quality and he comes with crucial errors and penalties.
We could just swap them around week to week and keep them fresh.

And Metcalf needs a go at Fullback, CNK and Taine are probably both bottom 4 fullbacks in the comp.

Is Mets defence up to fullback though, that's my only concern

the way dwz is going i'd have him at fb ahead of cnk right now ... TT at his best should no.1 tho

Thought DWZ was really good. Version 2026 has been so good both with and without the ball. Ali has improved so much which is great as Centre is a weak spot for us. Lofi looks like he may be a lock in for the wing now.

Not so worried about the back end of the second half. That wind was worth a few point. Webster also pulled off Capewell and then CHT which would have disrupted us. That would not have happened if it was a close game. Main thing is we won.

Mets at Fullback sounds good in theory, but I don't see it happening. Would be a hell of a spine with Boyd and CHT, but too high risk for my liking.

I was a big advocate of CNK returning to fullback, but gee whiz that guy really is past it. Tries his heart out but sometimes the mind is willing but the body is not. I don't think TT is the long term answer either.

On the plus side, Demitric looked like a man on a mission and was damaging with and without the ball. Thought Barney looked a real handful too.

These ford 80 minute sessions are getting a little performative, just because he can do it, don’t mean you should, what’s he doing chasing carnts on the edge in the 70th minute? Healey not really doing it for me this year, just runs and dies with the ball

long season, common sort of win teams have where the score don't look like that impressive, but never really in doubt

Imagine seeing the lotto draw & your numbers come in then realizing 20 minutes later you never got a ticket.

Sums up tonight on a smaller scales.
My mother used to tell me her numbers had come up. She never used to buy tickets.

It would have been better if she provided them to my father who buys them regularly with no luck.

Mind you she used to carry on looking at cars etc after they had brought one. Looking for a better deal. She didn't drive either.

The first half when we were firing. We are a lot better to watch with the ball compared to the last few years.

The last few years we probably wouldn't have put on 22 in the first half.

The shackles are off and a lot of it is working well. Ball is being moved and questions asked of the defence.

The big wins have been great this season. It is a long season. The main thing is we win more often than not. Win the close ones.

The second half gives them something to work on for next week.
