I see he is listed as a second rower and people naming him there for NSW cup also. I thought he looked comfortable at centre in the preseason. Is there any reason we wouldn't be playing and developing him there? Particularly as outside backs are a real issue for us with depth and talent coming through?

I thought he looked good in centers too. Had a good tip on etc and looked good defensively bur someone pointed out he looks better at second row.

Could he be that Ben Henry type of player (hopefully sans injuries) - workhorse type that started in the centres, but was always going to be a second-rower. Would potentially help him transition to NRL level, and doesn't seem like the type of kid to have his confidence knocked by being gassed on the outside a couple of times.

I think Ben Henry is a good comparison for him in terms of play style.

But he’s a lot taller than Ben Henry and more athletic.

He’s a workhorse for sure.

Absolutely not a centre long term. He’s 100% a second rower and should only be played there for the benefit of his development

Yeah, Eddie seems a bit more natural than Henry - but as a guy who played centre, 2nd row and prop last year, he could definitely play a role. Agree though that he shouldn't be played in the centres long term. Similar role to Garner in the Panthers side - a 2nd rower who can play well a centre to fill a gap (could also play that Howarth role for a season and then revert to 2nd row next year, but I think the Storm are only doing that so he doesn't leave).

We will need him in the back row for sure then. Will he grow into that size and shape a bit more?
He is tallish and lean, doesn't really have footwork at the line. He will run a line, and has decent pace. I can't see him becoming that solid middle. Maybe like a tackling 13 of old? He definitely has upside, fitness and a bit of pace. That's just my view bro.
