Is Cassius Tia another Arana Taumata..
Barney was on the outer at New Castle and had massive discipline issues.
CNK was on the outer at the Raiders
AFB caught fire after discipline issues at Manly (ref abuse).
Dylan Walker had big questions around him when he came here.
The list goes on and is pretty decent.
We must have some bloody alright psychologists on staff, or something, because mental problems seem to clear up pretty quickly.

To answer your question, I believe the club can make this work. I also believe that they believe they can make it work; otherwise why would they sign him?
All I mean by that is can the Warriors effectively integrate Tia into the team and deliver fully on his potential?
Think of it this way, the Warriors have had a 'White Elephant' level of talent just land into their hands.
Can the Warriors, integrate this guy smoothly into their operations... and deliver on where he should be at as a player and talent.

100% agreed. That is why I'm pretty excited Tia is with us. Especially somewhere in that spine. Massive upside for the club and for my mind he would be a key cog in the wheel going towards winning a premiership.
As a player, Like a Thurston, you want to see the ball in his hand 2-4 times a set. He is a dangerous and creative playmaker.
A lot of his development is done already. Where's his head at?

To build off what you're saying and what I was saying before. If what's required to bring out the potential of a 'high ceiling player' is psychological rehabilitation, I think this particular club should be up to the task.

Winning titles is boring because it is simply about mastering the basics of the game. Tackle. Complete.
But it looks 'Fire' when you add guys like Haas, Walsh, Staggs or Cleary, To'o, Mclean on top of that.
Warriors have that foundation.. Tackle (Still could improve more). Complete. adding those key guys now bit by bit. Club is on the rise. They won't always get it right but they are heading that way more and more.

What evidence is the that? Just that he’s played NSW cup?
Jack Thompson has done far more at the same age than Tia. Dominating and captaining Jersey Flegg games at 18 years old. Playing well in first grade trials at 19. Tia wasn’t doing these things.
With Inch, he just has a higher ceiling to me with his skillset.
Tia is great but he is your typical bigger ball running five eighth. I’m sure he will play first grade but definitely not a top 3 prospect in the game like you say

I haven’t seen him play but why then could he not make the Bulldogs NSW Cup side in the halves? I know Mitchell Woods is touted as there next big thing, but not at 6? Also didn’t seem to be on a top 30 contract which also has him down the pecking order. Has not been snapped up on a top 30 deal by any other club?

There’s 9 halves that are 20 years old this year and would go over Cassius Tia in a draft. That’s just 1 age group. Tia is turning 22 this year
Well the cool thing is we get to find out!
Cassius Tia has played pre-season trials too - went up against the tigers last year from memory.
Outside of watching him live. What his peers say about him (Salesi Foketi at Roosters said he is the best talent he has seen or played with and that he could be anything) and the fan disappointment at the Bulldogs. I think the weight of literal video evidence is pretty clear. There is reel after reel after reel of Tia wrecking defenses. He has an elite passing game, incredible vision and awareness to set up his insides and outsides. He shreds defenders. Great kicking game and he is all CLUTCH.
I mean, after having some off field issues, Tia got shifted from halves to centre and made the NSW cup team of year!! The dude can play... and better than most others.
Not saying Jack Thompson is not a fantastic talent because he is. He makes me think very much of a DCE. He is going good!
It;s just, for me, Tia's celling is higher because of his gifts. This week alone...which players are playing NSW cup and which ones are playing Jersey Flegg?
At the end of the day I rate them all. None of them are poor players.

Well yeah because Thompson is 3 years younger than Tia.

Tia seems like a very promising player, looking forward to seeing more of him - that highlight in one of the clips posted where he dummy’s inside then throws a flat no look cut out pass to his winger is one of the smoothest TAs I’ve seen in a long time - I replayed that a dozen times.

Watching the bulldogs supporter YouTube video shows that Cassius has what the vlogger mentioned and that is "time".
Watching his ball handling and passing game he appears to see not what I would consider "heads up, play what's in front of you". But more like he can see the whole defence he's attacking and can put the ball exactly where it needs to go. He has vision and processing speed which is how he gets the ball so we'll into position.
