We were just physically relentless.
Our attacking style is new age.

We saw glimpses of Erin Clark's ball playing during the trials.

Then again during last week.

It has been good to see as last year he'd tuck the ball in and barge at the defense. Often stunting our momentum.

That work paid off tonight with that ball to send Ford over. Will keep the opposition on their toes now. Hopefully Webster gets him to dummy and run next.

Clark and Ford combined in one of the trials as well. Not quite as smooth. But still cool to see something else to worry the defense.

Last week the Aussie media were so shocked about the Roosters losing I heard some comments about the conditions in Auckland.

Last week the conditions were fine. Early season it would be close to the best conditions you could get in NZ for night football. Unless it was in the two roofed stadiums.

I liked how we played last week. How that would go mid season was the key question. Got an example tonight they can adjust.

The conditions tonight were more something to comment on. The Raiders had similar last week so, they had good preperation.

The Souths vs Roosters game is getting all the hype. I thought ours was more the match of the round. Conditions maybe spoiled it. Well and the Warriors scoring so many points.

There's more hype around a QLD cup match than the Warriors. I refuse to listen or watch the aussie media. The only mention we'll get this week will be Cameron Geroge giving it to the Raiders & how "unprofessional" it is blah blah blah.

It's crazy what confidence and good coaching does for a player. Boyd always had an OK kicking game at the GC, but his defence was horrible and he got hooked in a couple games. His defence this year has been up there with any elite half

Boyd has been playing well. His confidence will be improving.

Hopefully when Metcalf comes in we are winning and the coaching staff really have to think about their selections.

It would also give the luxury of giving the option to get some game time in Metcalf first through some NSW Cup time.

He will come into the side. We have invested in him as our man. If we are winning he will need to perform to keep things going.
