I always get a little confused as to what a sell out actually means at the Warriors games. Thyere were some empty seats around us and it looked though the South Stand still has empty seats.
Anyway, best atmosphere in town and the envy of many other sporting franchises.
I reckon there's a bit of gamesmanship from the club around this, because there's always a decent number of empty seats in the corners - the ones that miraculously sell out the day of the game.

Wouldn't surprise me if they take tickets off the market at the last minute and give them to clubs, sponsors, etc - that way they get to keep championing the "X sellouts from the last Y home games" line.

Tonight will be interesting. The Raiders pushed the limit to start last week's game. They seem happy enough to wait out the referees to see if they will eventually relent.

It's penalty tactics. Last year it was super obvious that clubs like Penrith would put early pressure on their defense and then ride out the rest of the game knowing that the ref wouldnt touch them.

Last week broke the mould a bit. The ref was relentless, to his credit.

Still no. Different class of player
Metcalf is our guy. Tanah is our back up guy. Once available. Metcalf will be back in the seat driving the bus. Tanah went great last week and needs to keep that up. Because last year he had the goods but severely lacked confidence and belief in himself. He needs to strut and be a big shot. All that and he also still needs to give Metcalf's jersey back in time.

Why are we ruling out a mets/tanwah combo and CHT goes to utility off bench? I think it could work.
It will depend on form and combinations and dominant partner etc and more importantly, who is available. We would be wise to consider each combination possible and prepare contingencies appropriately.

If we're 5 and 0?

If the reason we are 5 and 0 is from Boyd's organizing and playing at the line, and we continue to look fluid on attack then Metcalf plays for CHTs jersey.

It would be weird to replace a dominant 7 on a hot streak if the Warriors keep playing like they did last week, ripping teams open. Lets not forget these are the same bland backs that struggled last season. If Boyd unlocks them then why would you arbitrarily place Metcalf in there for the extra try or two mostly around his running game....when you can have that with Metcalf at stand off.
