Team List Canberra Raiders v NZ Warriors - [Round 2, 2026]

I’d say that’s been the clubs Plan B all along for 2026 until Berry is available or one of Cup boys lights it up.
You can’t disrupt the epic forward line up from last week.
on the flip side, making 2 changes to the backline this close to kick off is not ideal either. This game calls for a defensive FB, so it might not be ideal for CNK to move to center for this game. He has a tendency to go missing at center which is something we can't afford for this game against a physical Raiders side where we need all hands on deck when it comes to meterage. So moving Leka there might make sense since it seems to be the least disruptive option for our backline. Marata can come onto the bench if Leka goes there.

New memo for the upcoming round from the NRL. The first 2 are key. I doubt the Raiders will avoid the sin bin if they are as ill-disciplined as the Roosters were last week. They also have a habit of cheating in the ruck and are more than willing to give up six agains and back their defense.

Holly shit 😂 If they enforce this (and they’ll have to now) the raiders are farked- that’s their whole game plan out there window.
Wheres my sports bet account

Part of their forward dominance in games comes from their ruck tactics which are borderline legal. Last time they played us at MSS, I wanted to scream at the tv (from the US). The way they were lying all over the ruck and openly daring the refs to call their bluff. They did the same last week at Brookie. They were lucky that brookie had monsoon like conditions last week that wasn't emanable to Manly's open attacking style. Otherwise there's no way they come back in that game imo.

I actually think we're a chance this week.

The raiders are explosive, but they get limited minutes doing this.

I felt like we picked our moments really well against the Roosters and ended up with the better energy by the end.
of course we're a chance. This is a flip of a coin game and the betting reflects that.

Game will be won in the middle. Last time, both JFH and Barney were out and they were full strength and they had the edge in the middle. This time with JFH in and Papalii out, I think we have edge. Not to mention they are coming into this off a short turn around off a golden pt game. Conversely, we're coming into this without any travel and an unchanged lineup.

The Warriors are holding him back till some suckers sign him only to discover he has lost his mobility and is looking old and ragged (I say in jest).

Chocolate knee at 1st training after passing the medical pre-signing? 🤣

PS rain apparently for the game
