Theres been probably a handful of games where opposition fans have been on tilt post game due to feeling aggrieved about the penalty/restart count.

Fact is in 2026 when we get our game on and are not giving up cheap turnovers, opposition teams have no other option but to infringe.

Clark started the year reasonably well, but once his extension was signed he has just put the hammer down.

I noticed Clark's first response at the final whistle was not arms raised or wahoo etc. He put his hands together and showed that he was grateful. Grateful for whatever it is he's experiencing or getting.

He's spot on and to add to it, it is ridiculous that fans expect refs to 'even things up' over the course of the game. If one side invests heavily in a forward dominant game, and does so very wisely with mobile, versatile players who can be very dominant and disciplined up the guts - why should the opposition get a leg up simply to make it look like there's no favouritism.

The Warriors have a very clear gameplan which to date has worked very well. Pre-game the focus was on whether the Broncos without Haas and co would be able to match the intensity of our forwards. They weren't able to, and as Vossy pointed out, the penalties were for a variety of infringements.

I don't agree with the new 6-again rules this season but I do agree that dominant forwards should be rewarded.

We've moved the ball downfield well under Webby's whole tenure tbh, usually lack of class in the red zone has been our downfall on converting.

This year we have levelled up our power game a touch with the interchange of passing across just about all of our middles.

See they keep citing that Klein has it out for them, their win percentage is higher under Klein than their average win %, ours is lower under Klein than our overall win %. Infact the Broncos win % under Klein is almost double ours… yet it’s some big Klein conspiracy

A lot of us were thinking, pre-match, that with Ashley Klein refereeing, and the video ref also having a history of ruling against us, that it wasn’t looking good. Marginal calls given against us, a rash of penalties given to change the course of the game, we’ve all known this to happen. But maybe, just maybe, things are turning for us. Two years running we’ve been pressing at the top of the ladder, the whole team is playing great, this all gives us Respect. A LOT of respect. That respect is given to us not just by the talking heads, but by the refs as well. We’re not just outsiders anymore, we’re serious contenders.

So maybe, just maybe, although yes we won that match through guts and determination, skill, strength and domination, maybe this match marks a turning point in how those margin calls play out, in when that whistle gets blown. Because there were several instances which in the past would have been given against us, we’ve all seen it, but this time they weren’t. Because (aside from just the one decision, the AKP sin binning) we were happy with the way Ashley Klein refereed us. And that's really saying something.

I also wonder if part of it is the respect we are showing the refs? Most teams seem to have a Moses, Tedesco, Grant, Munster, Walsh etc flapping their arms and arguing ever call- can think of Clarke being done for dissent earlier in the year but as a whole Fish seems to be fairly calm in his interactions?
I captain a bit in essentially social footy and main thing I always tell my guys is never talk to the refs, opposition always have a go at the refs which pisses them off and we pretty much get a free ride from the refs all game

The only thing donkey fans can be grieved about would be the Walsh HIA, those independent doctors can literally decide sudden death games

Did he stay down lol? Although players can get wounded by take a minute, the independent doctors are just shocking and they take off players and kill off the set for the attacking team too, should give an extra 2 tackles to regenerate momentum

From my viewing I think Klein had a decent game. Certainly unbiased for any particular side.
My issue would be with Adam Gee in the bunker, who took it in himself to declare that CHT had touched the ball so no try (zero evidence on my TV) and initiated the ridiculous 10 in the bin for AKP, which was clearly a square up.

If anything Klein got concerned about awarding more penalties against the Bronx for genuine infringements and therefore undermined his own 'integrity'.

I have watch the replay tonight after watching the game last night whilst on many beers.

Ali had a fine game and is consistently performing over the past few weeks. He is dangerous on attack and defending superbly now.

I can't see how Charnze gets his spot back if Taine keeps playing like that.

We left quite a few tries out there, and could easily have had another three at least. Two dud passes from CHT and a drop by Lofi. Despite this we still put 42 points on the board and we would have had more if we kept going, the Broncos were fucked. Our forward pack chewed them up and spat them out.

Our defence in the second half was excellent. Their two tries has questionable forward passes in them but we neve looked like losing. We scored when we were a man up and two tries when we were a man down. Very professional and ruthless.

As others have mentioned our combination of superior fitness and tight discipline is reaping rewards in conjunction with our simple game plan. I think that is why Tanah was doing so well as he organised us around this game plan and kept us on it. Hopefully our next half does as good a job.

I thought TMM was superb coming off the bench and with limited gametime this year. I was particularly impressed with his defence, he was folding kents.

I thought Ford was more effective than Barnett on attack as we should cope well with only Barnett and Capewah going to Origin. Egan is key and he was also superb. Having Healy to run through a tired opposition middle is super dangerous and he complements Egan's stint well.

The Dragons were fighting until the end against the Panthers so we will need to play equally well to beat them. I think JFH will demand we keep our standards high and we should have too much class for them. Our young fellas continue to grow and impress. Leka was dangerous and isn't far off a star turn I think. The combination with Tanah was still a work in progress so I hope we can gets some good reps in with TMM (my preference) or LM if he can be rehabilitated effectively back into the team.

Overall, we are a credit to the league when we can bring some amazing fans and spending power to Brisbane and put the Premiers to the sword on their home turf. This year we are already making history and smashing hoodoos. I can't wait for the next game.

The first few minutes felt like a playoff game and I expect us to bomb a couple due to nerves before warming up to the task in September

Love Ali’s turning into that beast centre he probably locks down the left edge next year with akp. How good webby managed him into form finally

Forgot it’s TMM’s first FG game A few clunks and overkicks can’t wait till he trains fulltime at 7 and start handing out try assists for fun again

Healey’s improving so much they need to work out his angle and TT or a half following him on his breaks, debut exactly a year ago too

The broncos were missing forwards but their defense had been really good in the last month so it was wild he rolled over the top of them playing with an urgency remembering how roosters almost got run down from 30:0

Lots of ex-pack there they better start realizing we as one nation team have a strong financial support with a fan base more than most of the Sydney teams there
