Guys did boyd walk back to the sideline with crutches? Barney looked bad with crutches and a bulky knee brace last year, tanah was in a knee sleeve
I saw that and commented to my lads who wanted a Temu medical opinion.

It depends bro. Yes it is heartening that he was walking and had a sleeve, but equally that could just indicate that he is someone that needs surgery and a long time lay off, that is a classic ACL scenario.

Ergo the club let him walk on it coz it is gonna need an overhaul anyway and the lack of strapping and ice? well that could just be so that it can swell out without constriction till they get him to hospital, and he may well have done his minutes on ice and have been due a break.

Broncos fans can complain about the penalty count all they like. This is not the first time they've been caned in the infringements- their last two games against the chooks and manly were also very bad for them. Then there was that liechardt game where the tigers had a crazy 63% possession for the full game- this game overall possession was only 55% to us. Each of these games had different refs.

At some pt you need to look yourself in the mirror and wonder if you have a discipline problem. The Walsh HIA was a bit harsh but I'd say the majority of the calls that went to us were legitimate penalties. They just are that bad at discipline.

Boyd with a potential ACL after whats unfolded during the week is possibly the most Warriors thing ever.

Thankfully from the presser it's not so clear cut that Metcalf walks back into the 7, which is what i'd hoped before starting to watch it.

We seem to be able to move down field so well this year, as do most other teams due to the current flow in the game.

I'm not sure Metcalf's longer kicking game ousts TMM's ball distribution and defensive resolve. I watched the game out so harder to keep focussed, will have to watch again to see how the kicking game unfolded but it certainly helped we were running a train on their middle.

No offence to Metcalf, but join the queue brother. I'd be picking TMM until shown otherwise. One player stepped in and the whole mojo of the team crumbled for some reason and our only two losses in rather horrendous fashion, the other stepped in and everything continued like clockwork.

Just to put to bed the talk around how Boyd was walking post game. ACL injuries don't mean you cannot walk. You can even walk around looking fine without a limp. In the non-athlete population they are often repaired weeks/months after the actual injury.

The contact-less nature of the injury, tests being done on field and shots of Boyd with his parents in the dressing room all point to this 100% being an ACL.
