He was a larrikin at GC. He's mellowed out and grown up a bit now.
So nice having a winger with elite speed and acceleration. Adds another dimension to the backline.

Nice that his centre put energy into feeding him. Didn't really do that against melbin. Was great seeing him in space. Even limited space
That's ok it was his first game at centre in ages and aside from that, had a fantastic game v Melbourne. Great to see it only took one game before really trying to find AKP out wide.

The enthusiasm and passion he shows is awesome. Willingness on defence is covering any defensive issues he may have had at GC.

When the switch gets flicked and we pour on the pressure with our defence that has to be very motivating for AKP....and winning games he would have lost at the Titans through grinding football must be giving him a lot of security in his role.
All the talk when we signed him was he needed to work on his off the ball stuff. I was a bit worried at the time cause he seemed a bit show boaty to me that he'd buy in to all the non sexy work ethics that undoubtedly Webby and co would expect and inundate him with.
Credit to him tho every interview ive seen he just talks about the work he's putting in on these areas and a team first mentality.....he really has seemed to buy into the Warriors mantra.....so good he that he has cause if there was one area that wouldve have been identified we were desperately lacking in, it was top end speed.....this dude has it in bucketloads.

Had a bit of a chuckle last night when Dal got the intercept and took off with the Fox after him.

Crazy.
My son still doesn't believe AKP has wheels, so it was frustrating when he had some open space that he was ran to the middle instead of working the Tram line with full light speed.
But he did the right thing, played for safer waters.
He'll get that breakaway soon. I can't wait for it.

Yeah I reckon he's matured a fair bit in his time here and as a result of not cracking the Tightens top team. He played his cup games and took his opportunity albeit through our centre problems rather than Roger or Dwizzy getting injured.
