Just watching that, man we’ve nailed the match day experience. Pompey though for me epitomises what hard work achieves. RTS came back and everyone was quick to expect him just to slot into the centre role without giving someone like Pompey the credit for how he’s become such a solid one on both sides of the field. Webster mentioned how hard he worked to get himself in favour at the club and I believe we’re about to see a real purple patch from him. I can recall a segment on a māori show more than 10 years ago when the roosters picked him up from Wesley college and he was awkwardly shy. He strikes me as someone who’s probably never been a confident person but watching him in recent times, I think he’s really got a belief in himself and feels a valued team member. Erin Clark has mentioned how he feels valued as something he’s really embraced upon his arrival and it’s plain to see what the coaching team are doing for the players
