From what I saw of Ali in NSW Cup he has more upside than Pompey. Can't believe you guys would are still selecting DWZ!

Assuming we sign AKP, the missing piece of the puzzle is a top quality full back. Then RTS can play wing and we have a team with very few weaknesses. Although maybe Kali will smash it in pre season and demand a spot. Here's hoping.

Heard from a coach on streaming saying the right centre is a key position in defense because that's the attackers' better passing side...

Stats support it, someone posted the stats up here the other day and nearly every right edge in the comp concedes a fair few more tries than their left if I recall correctly.

Lynnane is a gun, he is fletcher sharpe with ball skills, and is every chance for a go at 6 considering our 6 options.
I don’t care who the right winger is as long as it’s not a 31 year old Dallin.
Roger is the clubs best fullback by a mile, even still with his age.
Egans as over rated as CNK. Crabs around the field jogging at offside markers and everyone thinks he’s cam smith. Not to mention he gets knocked out every second game, and we have Healey.
What’s so crazy about Roger at fullback?
CNK and Taine wouldn’t start at fb at any other club in the comp.

You can’t even spell Jye’s name Dann

TT fullback, RTS offers nothing in attack and same as CNK pass is not an option, plus he’s fkn off to R360. Egan is one of the better hookers in the NRL, better judges than you and I, Matty Johns and Cooper Cronk showcase his slight if hand and passing skills, Sam doesn’t pass enough yet.

Wayde played nearly every game this season and can’t recall him getting knocked out for once.

I want DWZ and CNK out, even Niukore and Ford, but can’t see it happening. I really hope they try and convert Kayliss Fatialofa into a centre. He has the potential to be a gun out wider. Problem with Linnane, more injury prone than Mets, hope he stays healthy first.

What about Kali and Fatialofa in the centres if Ali doesn’t wake up.

Kali needs to be wing. There’s no other suitable replacements for DWZ. I think Mellars needs a similar run of form in NSW cup that Kali has had to push his first grade case.

I don’t love picking CNK, and if Berry is fit he’s obviously starting there. But I’d rather have CNK there at 70-80% of his fullback intensity than play Pompey who consistently runs at 20% intensity.

I need to see more from Leiataua to pick him. Noted he’s coming back from injury but Kayliss and Kali have looked a class above him at NSW cup level recently. It’s frustrating because he’s still had those moments in this NSW cup finals where he shows how damaging he could be.

Plus if we’re rolling with Kali and Kayliss in the backline we need some experience inside/outside them, which is why I’ve gone CNK who’s a great communicator which will help Kali a lot.

Ideally Berry and Ali just stay injury free so they can both develop into world class centers.
