He's not strike centre fast, he's 2nd Rower fast. People put too high expectations on our young guys that play Cup.
He will be introduced slowly like all our forwards. I really can't see him playing centre at all.

Barnett did acl in early June. Typically 9 months is your return which puts him back in March. Id say he back for pre season training.

Metcalf was July so earliest would be April for him.

I would day probably by rounds 5-10 both should be back

Think they were more mid season if I recall correctly.

Barney could be ready for R1 unless he wants to do more for his rehab/hybrid pre-season, Metcalf based on Sam Walker’s timeline should be ready for R1, or R4-5 with a few cup games like Walker was doing for confidence/fitness

Yeah he's not doing it for me in larger and larger patches. Dont want to be left holding the bag with Egan, it seems last couple of years we start questioning his durability. He's been a great servant for 6 years and had great seasons in 22 and 23.

Healey has his issues, but I cant see anything that isnt coachable and we need a spark for our miserable attack in the red zone. Also it keeps TMM at 14.

Some people will vehemently disagree and even I'm 50/50 on Egan coming right again.

I was hopeful to get a good full season out of him after he learned to tackle correctly but he has regressed of late. I fear for his future with the knocks he has suffered

If we didnt resign tmm i would be hopeful that healy would have been 14 next year full time.

That being said it appears storm & panthers have pioneered the 14 role now being a half instead of the traditional hooker. Every chance you can only fit one hooker in the team now.

I like Egan and think hes as good as hes hyped to be but maybe not suited to the current model and might need to be put out for a younger hooker.

I think Webby needs to make a couple of hard decisions and decide if he’s happy to just make the eight or if he really wants to make a mark in Week 3/4 of the playoffs. Move on our slower forwards and start with something dynamic. Youth and flare over age and ‘can’t break a tackle’. We need some punch from the bench and Healy and Demi both give that. Speed is something we still lack but a 1-2 players moved on over off-season and replace with the speed we lack.

I'm going to harp on about this all offseason but just give Halasima the starting left edge spot. He can do damage on either side of the field & can step off both feet but every fend comes from his right palm. He's one of our best players so we need to make it a priority for him to play in his preferred position.
