Just looked through the contract list after they were talking in the presser about players not being there next year, and turning up tonight to put themselves in the shop window. I don't really understand because there were only 3 unsigned for 2026. Unfortunately Maliepo is one. Could be back to rugby?

There's 10 unsigned for 2026, including those with a club option. Bit of a mixed bag, Maliepo would certainly be the #1 priority from them.

Black Ferns were all on the treadmill first half! Broughton is definitely one of the 4. Wouldn’t surprise if Waaka comes back as well. Maliepo and Broughton would be

Curious to see who the new 4 signings are. They should be looking to bring back Georgia Hale from the Titans. She will help shore up the defence. I'm actually looking forward to the NRLW Warriors 2026 season more than the mens. Had it not been for injuries and suspension and chopping and changing of players they would have made the play offs I reckon. They would have learnt a lot from this year and with the new players coming in next year I think they will challenge for the premiership.

I thought we were close to getting Tyla Nathan Wong this season but she signed with the Sharks….. could be an option as a 9.

She'd be redundant with Maliepo and Broughton in the halves anyway and isn't the same run threat as either.

We've also got to be careful with going too overboard with the ageing players.

So hope not as she brings high IQ play and some flair into the mix. In other words, she gets it! Surprised though that she wasn't one of the players nominated for the year end awards.
