This jersey served as both the home and away jersey for 1997 with the team only changing shorts and socks. Red was for home and blue was away though that wasn't always the case.

The replica one without sponsors is the most common version around. It sold back then for $129. The replica with sponsors sold for a staggering $199. For this reason 1997 jerseys with full sponsor logos are quite hard to come by.

As far player jerseys go it's so hard trying research them as they differed a lot from game to game. Some had the Telstra badge and/or players names while others didn't. Some had full sponsor logos etc...

Worn by the Auckland Warriors Colt team which was the Super League version of the Jersey Flegg or U20s.

Only versions available were the team issued jerseys that the players played in. Very few have survived...

The Super League Wars lasted only one season and the Warriors re-entered the newly formed National Rugby League (NRL). The 1998 jersey was the same as the previous year but this time they were allowed to use the Warriors logo which was owned by the ARL. The other major change was the new sleeve sponsor Barter Card.

Again we would wear the one jersey for the whole season only alternating shorts and socks.

Now for some reason Nike would produce this jersey with three different Warrios logos. One was the usual badge, the other was embroidered straight onto the jersey and the last one was a heat pressed badge...

1999 saw the end of one era and the beginning of another. DB Bitter would be completely removed as a sponsor and be replaced with Vodafone. The club would also change ownership and the first thing the new owners did was changed the curved tongue of the Warriors logo due to a perceived curse.

Replica jerseys would still have the old curved tongue logo...

Very little about this jersey is known other than the fact that it was worn only once during the Round 8 game against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Ericsson Stadium.

Only version available were worn during that one game. There is evidence that a set was prepared for the 1998 season but that still needs more research to confirm...

Is that the one they wore in the 96 trials as well?

Have seen rumours of an NRL retro remake of this coming soon
