Instead over just letting Bernie beat Trump, not only did they not learn after trying to get Bill's bottom bitch the job, they made the same mistake again, this time by not even pretending to hold a primary. Bernie's numbers were great in 2016 and still had much better favourability in 2024 than Biden or Trump.
