Politics πŸ€‘ Donald Trump

Watching his press conference just now, he’s insane. Global tariffs of 10% after just losing the court case to determine whether he had the authority to impose any tariffs. I can see him being impeached tbh.
The art of the deal was supposed to be a strong tactic that many have gone on about but in reality, this diplomacy is from yesteryear with much of the world not bowing down to threats but rather seeking other opportunities than to have a accept this bluster. He’s the chosen one to the god squad so can’t do wrong in their eyes but America has a long road out of this

Did you get your info from Ben Shapiro ? Cos that's bs lol.

My family and I visited Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, and Guilin. And it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I never felt threatened. Customs were great. Had no issues getting in the country. Almost every person who came up to us , Asked where we were from. Offered to buy us food & drinks. Offered to be our tour guides and show us around for free lol.

We did encounter some inquisitive kids trying to scratch the brown off of my arm 🀣 our translator who is my wife's work colleague and good friend said the kids were wondering if it was dirt, Or if we live on the sun? 🀣 It was explained to us that these kids came from rural towns and had never seen a brown person. Then they apologised , Bowed and thanked us for the convo.

Compare that to our American trip(Texas) i was held & interrogated for 14 hours at the airport. Before being allowed to enter the country.

We had a few encounters with locals - I was called a Spic, Terrorist , Arab, word that rhymes with wigga. Told to go back to Mexico, Iran , Iraq , Even Africa!???? Wtf lol. Even though I told them I was indigenous to New Zealand and a Samoan. I got the, Same same from most of them.
It's not nice being a darker skin colour in America. Cut our 3 week trip into a 10 day stay. Come home early.

In the late 70s I transferred to a new tiwn and stayed in a hotel. The only other guest was an older guy and we had meals together. It turns out he had gone to Germany in the late 1939s. He said the average German citizens were just pricjs, arrogant and unhelpful. The most helpful (obviously under orders) were uniformed SS members who would go above and beyond to help him

Is there a chance Texas is going to turn blue?
Mind you this is from a short clip I saw on tik tok so this could be a absolute bs πŸ˜‚.

Today, the Supreme Court ruled Donald Trump's tariffs unconstitutional.
They said he cannot unilaterally impose taxes on the American people. It was a clear, decisive victory for the Constitution.
Trump's response? He laughed. Then he burned their castle down.
In a press conference hours later, Trump declared he will IGNORE the Supreme Court.
He announced new tariffs anyway, calling the justices who ruled against him "enemies of the people" and saying, "They have no power to stop me. Nobody does."
Stop reading for one second and let that sink in.
A sitting President of the United States just openly declared that the Supreme Court has no power over him.
And here's the nightmare: He's right.
We are no longer approaching a constitutional crisis. We are living in the aftermath of one.
The Constitution is dead. Here is why:
1. IMMUNITY MADE HIM UNSTOPPABLE
The Supreme Court did this to itself. When it granted Trump criminal immunity for official acts, it handed him the keys to the kingdom.
Today, when he defies their order, that defiance is an "official act." The court gave him immunity for official acts so therefore, there is no mechanism to stop him.
The Court can rule until they are blue in the face, but they have no army, no police, no enforcement power.
Trump knows this. He knows they neutered themselves. He is now dancing on their grave.
2. NO ONE CAN ARREST HIM. EVER.
Think about this logically: Who would arrest the President?
The Justice Department? It works for HIM. The Marshals? They answer to HIM. The military? He's the Commander in Chief.
We have created a system where the person with the most power literally cannot be touched.
The immunity ruling didn't just protect him from prosecutionβ€”it gave him permission to do ANYTHING with zero consequences and today proves it.
3. CONGRESS IS EITHER COMPLICIT OR DEAD
Where is Congress right now? If they do not act TODAYβ€”immediatelyβ€”to impeach, to defund, to do SOMETHING, they are complicit in this takeover.
The Constitution designed three co-equal branches. If one branch tells the other to go to hell, and the third branch does nothing, the system is broken forever.
If Congress lets this stand, they are admitting they have no power. And if they have no power, they have no reason to exist. They might as well go home permanently.
4. THE EPSTEIN FILES ARE GONE FOREVER
Here is where this gets real for everyone.
You want the Epstein files? You want the truth about what happened?
Forget it.
If Trump can ignore the Supreme Court on tariffs, he can ignore them on EVERYTHING.
Any court order to release documents, to allow investigations, to compel testimonyβ€”meaningless.
He has declared himself above the law. The files will rot in darkness forever. We will never know the truth because there is no power left on earth that can force transparency.
The rule of law died today, and those files died with it.
THIS IS THE MOMENT. RIGHT NOW.
We are no longer "sliding toward" dictatorship. We are not "at risk" of losing democracy.
WE ARE IN A DICTATORSHIP. RIGHT NOW. TODAY.
The Supreme Court issued an order.
The President said "no."
Congress is silent.
That is the definition of absolute rule.
There is no check. There is no balance. There is only one man who does whatever he wants with no consequences because the courts gave him immunity and Congress gave him silence.
The Constitution is a piece of paper. Trump just proved it.
If you are reading this and feeling helpless, good. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Because the only thing that stops a dictator is people who refuse to accept it.
Congress either grows a spine TODAY, or we just witnessed the funeral of American democracy.
The Supreme Court didn't just lose today. It committed suicide. And it took the Republic with it.

The only way I see anything happening in the epstein files is on a world scale and over top of America as crimes against humanity. Who really knows what was being done, but trafficking certainly occurred of young people and people further abroad than America have fallen due to their connections. The unredacted files shows everything warts and all but the money and power of those trying to suppress it all likely means nothing happens though. Andrew is being done for insider information which means it’s the UK government pursuing, which America won’t do even if trump was believed to have done similar. The republican party has always sold itself as the party of law and order, the republican party is now dead and nothing more than the party of trump

Didn’t he just have a 150 day reprieve by way of section 122 of the trade act? So he’s just using the avenue he still has, although it’s only a temporary one.

To what end? Foreign companies/nations won’t change policy to account for a temporary tariff scheme. He is just extending the nondirect tax on the American consumer. Surely the yanks have had a gutsful of this guy at this stage.

Reports are coming in that the Secret Service have killed someone trying to get on to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

One of the things that was said to have empowered Hitler and given him a "sense of destiny" was the number of assassination attempts he survived. I get the feeling that Trump (and a number of his supporters) will be starting to feel the same about Trump now.
