Those guilty of anything will be a tiny proportion of that far larger number. Treating “was in the same orbit” as equivalent to “committed crimes” is logically weak.
Unfortunately in trial by rumour, a lot of people will be caught up by mere association as it’s the easy and lazy option.
Based on the police chief interviews, Trump could end up innocent in all this.

The saddest thing to me is that 77 million Americans thought he was ok (maybe a bit less now) and the GOP thought he was the right person to lead them and the country. Politics, power and money.
