I’ve heard in WW2 the US had 4 x 5 star generals. Now they have 40. Each one has their own $50m jet available 24 hours a day for their exclusive use.

In the context of the 1,000’s of homeless veterans, crazy stuff.
 
Positive: Really happy that Trump is stepping in re Nigeria. Finally some one prepared to help.
Concern: Is Trump threatening a sovereign nation? I am not sure. He has to be careful.

Overall: I am so happy someone is helping those poor people in Nigeria getting slaughtered.

So now an American president threatening to invade another nation is out of the goodness of their heart and there couldn't possibly be an ulterior motive...

That doesn't sound believable. There is so much bullshit out there now it takes a lot of work to get to the truth of anything, if you can at all.

Haven’t read any of this thread for bout 2 months now so this may’ve been discussed last couple of days but with old mate Donny looking to start wars with both Venezuela and now Nigeria, is he looking at claim the old “cant have an election whilst at war” trick?? Bit like Netyenahu and Velenski play book?

We did discuss that, I think the conclusion was there's no such precedent and elections have been held during wartime, so it won't wash.
