in this specific instance I think white south African farmers are more valuable to the United States than unskilled, uneducated Black Africans. Furthermore I wasn't aware there was on offical white only immigration policy. Just that they were treating Boers as refugees. A high skilled Black African couldnt enter as a refugee, they would have to enter under H-1B, which was the only previous way Boers could get a Visa
While it’s true 95% of American farms are white owned, it’s also true that it’s mainly Mexican or Hispanic farm workers that work them. In the time they’ve done so, you’d expect they’ve picked up some knowledge along the way. Money and opportunity can sometimes be the barrier. Was only a couple of years ago China was the most successful agricultural country in the world
But the historical data doesn't support that. Land reforms have been happening since pre 2000s, not last week.
Again simply go and look at Zimbabwe.
