This isn't good news for Crypto is it? Mantra (OM) had real world use and a number of contracts. Its just plummeted in value 90% in basically the space of 4 hours. Doesn't give a lot of confidence does it...
I dunno. This is pretty normal in, basically, an unregulated financial space.
Think about all the loop holes in stock trading systems that have been closed with regulation and government oversight.
Projects come, projects go, but ultimately big governments will end up being the ones to push this up a notch. Despite this, the global usage of digital currencies remains pretty popular, which makes me think it's a matter of when, not if.
Personally, I don't waste my time with day trading. I mined a wee bit, about ten years ago, and am just sitting on it. But to be fair, I would bother day trading stocks either - your chances of beating the established players is pretty low.
Edit: Also, I'd never heard of Mantra until it was mentioned in this thread.
