GTA VI trailer out early, 2025 release date though 💀 (which will probably become 2027 lol)
I think playing pokies can be a fun way to relax after a long day, especially with low stakes. The variety of themes and bonus features keeps it interesting. For anyone in New Zealand looking for trusted online options, check this list: best online casinos https://africa.businessinsider.com/local/best-online-casinos-for-new-zealand-players-in-2025/ncxz58r

As someone who collects physical media it’s sad to see EB Games shut down in NZ I think Australia might soon follow suit some stores have already closed

Quite a few closed over the last couple of years and the rest basically converted into Zing stores anyways. Hard for them to stay relevant when physical games are close to extinct

Also tough when the big games take years to develop now rather than churning out the next instalment the next year etc
EA have been hit like a lot of changing industries. Less physical media to trade in.

The gaming industry is interesting. You get the sports games or games like the WWE series which they pump out with better graphics and a few tweaks. Then others you want a bit more regularly and they take forever to develop.

The big yearly ones are obviously profitable. It would provide more of an opportunity to add new features if it is bi-annually. At the moment the WWE games for example are 6 months of DLC with a lot of patches. Then they move on to the next game.

10 years ago I stopped playing consistently as I got too busy having two young boys. It got to the point whenever I wanted to play my PS3 the controllers would all need to be charged. In that 10 years we are still waiting on GTA6.

I brought a PS5 a few years ago. Can see the difference in the industry since then. Games require a lot more patching, micro transactions.

True I don’t mind waiting/paying for quality games but there’s so few companies out there that deliver high quality that I trust nowadays besides Rockstar/ND etc I do like that indie games have started taking off now

Yeah I think we may be of a similar age, back in the PS2/XBox days i was young with disposable income and there’d be a game worth buying every couple of months.
Now I’m lucky if there’s one a year (if I get time) and despise that it’s getting harder and harder to have a solid single player game that doesn’t involve having to be online or micro transactions.
There’s been a couple of retro side scroll beat ‘em up games that have kept me just as entertained of late that are very easy to pick up and put down

We give our kids old consoles and purposely keep them from whatever the latest shit is.

They have a Wii and a jail broken PS3.

Offline only.
