At least our 16% drop in the sales of EV's is not as bad as Norway's where there has been an 66% in January sales of EV's compared to January last year.What happened to ev sales in nz I don't hear you ask? Even after cutting EV incentives, Norway only sold 98 diesel cars in January
Norway cut EV incentives, resulting in a rush and record sales. That would usually cause a hangover, but EVs still took 94% share in January.

Yup, adapt or die. In saying that, my damn insurance bills will kill me if they keep going up at the current rate.
At least by saying "adapt or die" there is recognition of the effects of anthropogenic accelerated climate change.
It is truly a pity that so much energy is put into denial first, before moving to adapt or die.
Rather, accepting that the scientists were correct in the first place, many decades ago, and not succumbing to fossil fuel backed conspiracies and dark money lobby groups using the same tactics as big tobacco, that would have been an easier and less costly path for all of humanity.
There are of course patterns here with denial sitting strongly with those on the right and far right.
One might say that we've been had.
Not suggesting that you have Rick, at all, others certainly have and no doubt still will, I'm expecting comments on this stuff at some point.

Swiss vote down proposal for massive 'climate fund'
The Swiss Government had urged voters to reject the initiative as too expensive.
And yet another major event driven by man made climate change.
It almost feels as if there was a large injection of water vapor into the atmosphere recently that is impacting weather and rainfall for a predicted 8-10 years
