Maybe Mal us using Mimis to push this rumour to force the wahs & Luke to make a decision, Sooner rather than later. Break the contract to agitate for a early release. Promise Luke slightly more money at the Bears.

Or, Lol Another scenario...Luke to Bears. Boyd to PNG and the Cleary Whanau to join Jett at thr Wahs. CHT to re-sign.

SFX Sports Group did confirm that they have spoken to Warriors management to clarify his long-term future and his role at the club. So it wasn't initially started by the media. The shit went north with all the speculation after the fact.

The majority is going to struggle with supporting a successful club if they'll bite onto any rumor. Especially saying they know what was said in the room, and the only confirmation that exists is that management asked for clarification.

It would have or should be an easy conversation. Luke needs to get match practice and fitness and string some games together in NSW. Depending on form he may force his way into the first grade squad.

That works for the short term bro. We need clarity on whom will be here next year.

As it stands , Metcalf is with us for the next 3 years. If Boyd stays on. Who plays 7 and shifts out to 6? Both will want the 7.

CHT is a no brainer. He plays 6 and knows his role. If the club has told Luke that we will sign Boyd to play 7 , But he'll have to shift to 6. Then i can see there being some sour grapes.

And that confirmation is something we probably shouldn't have even known about and is probably the root cause of the last 20 pages. It's frustrating because the club has done a fantastic job at keeping this sort of stuff behind closed doors. How it got out is one thing I'd like to know!

For it to be identified in the media that he was willing to play five eighth in the short term makes me think that the club had approached him about this but he sees himself as a halfback moving forward

Im really wondering if there could be something to Nathan Cleary coming over, this has all happened with our marquee halve signing after Cleary has decided to go to market? No doubt Boyd is going great guns but this would be one of the biggest signings in the clubs history
