Team List Gold Coast Titans v NZ Warriors - [Round 7, 2026]

Liking that team with Capewell back in and Laban and Niukore on the bench. Laban perhaps unlucky to miss out on a starting spot to Leka but the X Factor won out it seems.

Great to see Barnett back. If he plays we have a fearsome forward pack and someone awesome is going to miss out. Would prefer CNK to not play, but it is hardly a serious problem if he does at FB. However, Tanah Boyd is my main concern and the selection of Luke Hanson does suggest it may be real that he has a problem. However, could be the old smoke and mirrors too.
Not sure that's the case re Leka, Webby loves a smoke screen so teamlists are redundant till 1hr before kick off and hardly worth worrying about.

If Leka was to start, play 30mins and Laban finish the last 50 it wouldn't be surprising.

Webby seems happy to use his interchanges up by shuffling edges to middle and vice versa.

Anyone going to say the B word for this game?
Titans are on a two game win streak.
They got 50 on Sunday away from home.
We have won one of our last three.
They have beaten us three of the last four including twice at our home ground.
Yet the TAB odds will likely be $1.45 us $3.70 them.
It’s a real test for us.
Capewells inclusion and hopefully Barney will ensure we have cool heads.

Not trying to sound cocky or anything but if our defensive intensity is anything like last week, they will struggle to score. The Titans have averaged 15 points per game with last week being the exception, albeit against a very depleted eels side. Surely we can’t drop down to their level after such a massive win against the Storm…..
